Established in 1971, the Boise Valley Fly Fishers holds the distinction of being the oldest fly fishing organization in Idaho. Over the past few years, the Boise metropolitan area has experienced substantial growth, which has mirrored the increased local interest in fly fishing. Our mission to promote fly-fishing through education and conservation activities relies heavily on the success of the Expo. This event has consistently offered instruction in fly tying, casting, and fly-fishing ethics, forming the bedrock of our Expo, and we remain committed to providing other educational fly-fishing workshops and lectures.
